Action RPG Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising set to launch on May 10

Action RPG Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, considered a prequel to the upcoming RPG Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, is set to launch on May 10 on multiple platforms.

I was lucky enough to try the starting hours of Action RPG Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising and it was fun dungeon crawling and helping a small town that was unfortunately ravaged by different disasters. It plays differently as it’s more of an action platformer while Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, the game considered a spiritual successor to the Suikoden franchise, is a turn-based RPG.

The Eiyuden Chronicle series all started with a Kickstarter campaign in 2019 where Suikoden series creator Yoshitaka Murayama is helming the project and working with those at Rabbit & Bear Studios. The campaign grew to a point that a spin-off prequel title became a reality to support the upcoming RPG.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S. Xbox One, Nintendo Switch on May 10. It will also be available through Xbox Game Pass on day one.

If you’re looking forward to Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, you’ll have to wait a bit longer as it’s slated for a 2023 release.
