Prey, the reboot to the classic Sci-Fi first person shooter, comes out this week, and for those that want to give this game a try, a demo called Prey Demo: Opening Hour lets everybody try out the first hour of the game.
Problem is, Prey Demo: Opening Hour is only available for only PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. PC players will have to wait for its release this week on May 5.
During the first hour of Prey, players will get a glimpse of the cool toys you'll be needing to survive the horrors of Talos-1. You are limited to the starting area of the game, but the space given gives you enough freedom to really explore your options. I'd like to think of the demo as a playground of sorts to really highlight the game's unique mechanics, like the use of the GLOO Gun, which looks to be the source of making unique paths in order to progress through the game.
For those picking up the game on the PC, here's a reminder of what you'll need to run the game at a smooth pace.

With the Prey reboot, we'd like to consider this game to have a good sense of freedom similar to the Deus Ex series and the atmosphere in the lines of System Shock.
Prey is out this week on May 5 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
