Wolfenstein II Now Has A Free Trial Mode On Consoles And PC

The excellent Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus just got a "free trial" on Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4. I liked the game a lot and gushed about in our last episode of The TMG Podcast.

The free trial, which is what old fogeys like me used to call a "demo" back in the day, is available now on Steam, the Xbox Games Store and the PlayStation Store and will let you play through the first level.

The first level is pretty interesting and I won't spoil anything about it, though you probably know what it involves if you've seen a trailer or two for Wolfenstein II or finished 2014's Wolfenstein: The New Order.

The trial is similar to the trial we got for last year's Dishonored 2 in that your save game will carry over into your purchase of the full game, allowing you to continue your Nazi-killing shenanigans directly from where the demo ends.

Take note that the game is currently on sale on Steam because it's sale season with prices varying depending on your region. In the UK it's about £27 and in the Philippine it's at P1,380. I'll leave all of you Xbox and PlayStation users to find out what deals are available to you.
