These Are The Top Games Coming Out This Week (November 13-19, 2017)

The most exciting releases this week might be the one that's taking us long, long ago to a galaxy far, far away or throwing us into a universe filled with heroes and villains, gods and monsters. But it's also a great week for modern classics making their long awaited debut on contemporary platforms.

Rocket League (November 14 | Nintendo Switch)

The sports ball sensation that’s taken every platform by storm is finally on the Switch. With wireless multiplayer as well as the much celebrated cross-platform play you can test your skills against PC and Xbox One users too. Nintendo-themed Battle Cars also come free at launch.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 (November 14 | Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC)

Every LEGO game is centered around currently hot movie properties. In this Marvel themed sequel, the focus is on Thor: Ragnarok. But with a season pass that covers Black Panther, Infinity War and Ant-Man & Wasp, you’ll have plenty of heroes to acquire and bricks to collect.

L.A. Noire (November 14 | Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4)

This ground breaking detective game makes its way to new consoles. All versions will include every additional DLC case, as well as support for higher resolutions and enhanced graphics on the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, and special motion and touch controls for the Nintendo Switch.

Star Wars Battlefront II (November 17 | Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4)

This smorgasbord of Star Wars fan service borrows characters, vehicles and locations from every trilogy and delivers what fans have asked for: a proper single-player story mode. The microtransactions remain controversial, but free content is also coming down the pipe.

The Sims 4 (November 17 | PlayStation 4, Xbox One)

The infamous people simulator makes its triumphant return to current generation consoles, seven years since The Sims 3. Build your fantasy houses, grow dream families and of course make enemies and trap them in rooms without doors and bathrooms.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (November 17 | Nintendo Switch)

At long last, the world's most addictive open-world fantasy role-playing game is now... portable. Ignore your friends, your family and most importantly, the main storyline as you pick fights with storekeepers, slay dragons, become a werewolf and hunt for wheels of cheese.
