NetherRealm Studios released a new trailer for Injustice 2 and it gives us a glimpse of the story for the upcoming sequel. It gives a short refresher of the events from the first game, with new and old faces battling it out. Robin's got beef with the bats.
From the video alone, Brainiac is definitely the big baddie for Injustice 2. But there's one more big bad that's very well known in the DC Universe.
Just like what was done with Goro in Mortal Kombat X, Darkseid is confirmed as a playable character for Injustice 2 but as a pre-order incentive.
Injustice 2 will also have three different version of the game, each with their own set of extras. You can see more details or pre-order yourself right here.
The first one is naturally the standard edition which pretty much comes with the game. The Delux Edition has three unnamed DLC fighters, one exclusive gear shader pack, and a 'premier' skin that turns Supergirl into Power Girl, complete with a new voice and dialogue.
The Ultimate Edition is the big one - it includes nine unannounced DLC fighters, three premier skins, which turns Flash into Reverse-Flash, Hal Jordan into John Stewart, and Supergirl into Power Girl (which is included in the Deluxe). Both John and Reverse-Flash skins will have their own unique audio and dialogue as well. Also included are exclusive gear shader packs.
Injustice 2 will be out on May 19 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
