Vita Fighters major update adds 6 more characters, Steam launch announced

Ranida Games announced that mobile fighting game Vita Fighters from developer AngryDevs released a major update that includes 6 new characters and 5 new stages to duke it out. The 2D fighter is now also slated for a Steam release in 2022.

With the major update, the total roster for the 2D fighter has now reached 29. The six additional characters described by the developers are as follows:

  • King, a retired pirate hired to find The Beast

  • Hyde, an Olympic gold medalist

  • Sheng Long, booted out from a game because of a mistranslation

  • Sleve, a baseball player from the future

  • Kenjiro, resurrected assassin by certain magic balls

  • Anderson, (classified)

The concept of Vita Fighters is rather interesting for a mobile fighting game as characters that didn’t make the final roster of their respective fighting game title are given another chance to make it to the spotlight as the winner of the tournament in Vita Fighters will be given the opportunity to make it into a triple A fighting game.

If you’re eager to give a game like this a shot, Vita Fighters is available right now on mobile for both the App Store and Google play. You can visit the game’s Steam page here and add it to your wishlist.
