Deck Building Strategy Game Loop Hero Heads To The Switch Later This Year

The RPG strategy game Loop Hero is heading to the Nintendo Switch later this year. It was announced during Nintendo’s Indie World showcase which premiered on August 11. No exact release date was given.

Loop Hero was first released on March 4, 2021 for PC and Mac and has received positive praise for players and critics alike. In just 24-hours, the game had over 150,000 players, then reached 500,000 players in it’s first week.

In Loop Hero, an evil lich has placed the world in an infinite time loop and you play as the hero going through randomly generated dungeons. It’s a roguelike deck building strategy game more than anything as the kicker here is you don’t directly control the hero as he’s placed in a pre-set path when going through each dungeon. Players can play cards they find to alter the loop such as putting new monsters in the hero’s path to earn better gear and cards or change the terrain to apply certain bonuses.

If you’re eager to check the game out as early as now, Loop Hero is currently on sale via Steam through the online store’s Midweek Madness sales until August 15. It’s currently 30% off, making it only PHP 267.96.
