Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets Perks for July 13 - July 18, 2023

This week, Dead by Daylight’s Shrine of Secrets is sadly back to normal as the Daily Shrine offer has come to an end. We are back to the usual four perks offered per week and from July 13 - July 18 you can consider if the perks Leader, Stake Out, Hex: Blkood Favor, and Discordance are worth your hard-earned shards.

Dead by Daylight Shrine of Secrets perks for July 13 - July 18, 2023

This section in the in-game store of Dead by Daylight allows players to unlock perks still unavailable for them, or have not yet earned the highest tier.

Killer Perks

Hex: Blood Favor (The Blight) - Whenever a Survivor loses a Health State by any means and enters the injured state or dying state, this perk calls upon the Entity to block all pallets within 24/28/32 meters of that Survivor’s location for 15 seconds.

All effects of the hex will persist until it is cleansed or blessed.

Discordance (The Legion) - Any Generator within a range of 64/96/128 meters that is being repaired by 2 or more Survivors is marked by a yellow aura.

When the Generator is first highlighted, this perk triggers a loud noise notification for the Killer. After the Generator is no longer within range or is being repaired by just 1 Survivor, the highlight Aura will linger for another 4 seconds.

Survivor Perks

Leader (Dwight Fairfield) - This perk increases the action speeds of other Survivors in Healing, Sabotaging, Unhooking, Cleansing, Opening, and Unlocking by 15/20/25% while they are within 8 meters of your location.

Stake Out (David Tapp) - Every 15 seconds you are within the Killer’s Terror Radius, while not being chased, this perk gains 1 token, up to a maximum of 2/3/4 tokens.

When this perk has at least 1 token, Good Skill Checks consume 1 token and will be considered Great Skill Checks, grading an additional bonus of +1%.

Great Skill Checks will not consume any Tokens.

Which perks are worth getting this week?

Not bad for Killers this week in Shrine of Secrets as either Discordance or Hex: Blood Favor is worth having in your list of perks. Discordance is great for Killers that can punish those that bunch up together while Blood Favor pretty much limits a Survivor’s options while in a chase. Just like all Hexes, the biggest problem is it being cleansed early before it gets any value for you, which is fine as it’s a typical problem but worth considering with the right perk loadouts to support such a play style.

As for Survivor, Leader is hardly used and at best more valuable when you can coordinate with at least one Survivor in the Trial. Stake Out can be fantastic if paired with the perk Hyperfocus, making you speedrun Generators, assuming you hit your Great Skill Checks, of course.
