Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remasted Suddenly Available On The PS4

Surprise! Activision just officially announced Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered and it’s out on the PS4 today, with preorders for the game now available in other platforms.
The original developers, Infinity Ward, handed over the remaster duties to the folks at Beenox and focused on improving the campaign visually while retaining everything else. This remastered does not include Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer component.

PS4 players can now buy and play the new version of the campaign first while Xbox One owners and PC can only pre-purchase and wait for it’s release at a later date. Doing so will grant buyers and those that pre-order the Underwater Demo Team Classic Ghost Bundle, which includes the UDT Ghost Operator skin inspired by the ‘The Only Easy Day…Was Yesterday’ campaign. Players will also get two weapon blueprints, a weapon charm, a new finishing move, voice quip, an animated calling card, an emblem and two Battle Pass tier skips for 2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the recently released Call of Duty: Warzone.
