Breath of the Wild Sequel Officially Called the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The sequel to the highly successful The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is officially titled The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. During the September 2022 Nintendo Direct, we were given a new gameplay video showing not only the new title for the sequel but a release date - May 12, 2023.
The new gameplay trailer is less than 2-minutes long but shows a fare amount of actual gameplay with Link opening giant doors,freefalling in the sky, and riding what seems to be some sort of glider made of rock.

We are given a new trailer, a new title, a release date, and nothing else. We’ll update this story as more information is provided by Nintendo.
In the meantime, Octopath Travel 2 and other games were announced during the latest Nintendo Direct that debuted this September.
