Action RPG Babylon's Fall has gone gold

Publisher Square Enix and developer PlatinumGames has announced that the co-op action RPG Babylon’s Fall has officially gone gold way ahead of it’s March 3, 2022 release date. It was announced during the developers first livestream for the game. 

During the livestream, developers featured more gameplay footage of the game around the 11-minute mark.

When a developer announces that their project has gone gold, it means development is complete and the product is ready for mass production. Platinum Games is now focused on the day 1 patch for Babylon’s Fall

Babylon’s Fall is Platinum games’ take on an action RPG that is a dungeon crawler at heart as you can play up to 3 other players to take on quests and other activities. It will feature a loot system and the types of combat and skills are based on the weapons you choose to bring in a quest.

Based on gameplay footage released so far on the game, mission structure is divided into sections where players will have to face waves of enemies before advancing to other parts of the quest. 

Gameplay footage of the game has been released at the end of 2021 as there were beta tests conducted and the reception is mute at best.  Developer PlatinumGames for games such as NieR: Automata, Wonderful 101, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, and the Bayonetta series.

Babylon’s Fall will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
