A New The Invincible Demo Is Available in the Latest Steam Next Fest

Steam’s Next Fest, a week-long celebration of upcoming games featuring hundreds of playable demos, will feature a new demo for the upcoming story-driven game The Invincible.

This demo will be different compared to the previous one 11 Bit Studios and Starward Industries released recently as this new one will take place a bit later in the game and will allow players to explore the planet Regis III with a land vehicle.

The Invincible is based on the novel by polish science-fiction author Stanislaw Lem with the same name, and you play as Yasna, an astrobiologist that finds her and her crew on an unexplored planet called Regis III.

Here’s a quick description of The Invincible from the game’s Steam page:

Robots, people… Choose whether to interact with different creatures on Regis III or how to do it. Friend, companion? Enemy? You never suspected what these words might really mean before you got here.

Immerse yourself in the atompunk atmosphere by using various tools, such as a telemeter or a tracker, and drive a vehicle through a stunning landscape. Experience realistic interactions with analog technologies in a retro-futuristic timeline.

The Invincible is a first-person game based on the motifs of The Invincible - an iconic novel of the world-known, hard science-fiction author and Polish futurologist Stanisław Lem.

There are places like Regis III, not prepared for us and for which we are not prepared for. Still, our spacecraft inevitably comes closer to the destination - for our stories and fates to cross in a dead spot.”

The Invincible is just one of the many titles featured in Steam’s Next Fest event which is available from today, June 20 until June 26. There are hundreds of demos available to the public for free for upcoming games like The Invincible which is set to release sometime in 2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store, GoG)
