More VGA reveals: Diablo 3's Intro Cinematic Trailer

Diablo 3 Intro Cinematic trailer Hey look at that, yet another Diablo 3 exclusive reveal. This is said to be the intro cinematic for Diablo 3. As always, it looks simply amazing. It shows Leah with her Uncle Deckard Cain doing some research that predicts yet again that evil is coming.  Blizzard we know the game is going to blow our minds, care to give us a release date already??

I suggest watching this on 1080p to get the full effect of this Cinematic Trailer.

Diablo 3 is still on TBA status still but beta for the game is currently underway, which means release time should be close by.....I hope.

VGA 2011: Epic Games reveal new title called Fortnite

Epic Games mentioned a new game is in the works and will be revealed during the VGA's. Well, it isn't a new Gears game, or another Bulletstorm, but an entirely new title called Fortnite. Epic Games is bringing something completely different this time around. Still powered by Unreal, the debut trailer shows a camera man filming a group survivors preparing during the day for an onslaught of zombie-like creatures that obviously comes out at night.

Fortnite seems to have a cartoon-ish art that I've never seen from Epic Games. Reminded me a little of Team Fortress 2's art. While I wasn't too thrilled with what I saw(possible zombie survival again?), the fact that Epic Games is showing that their open in creating something entirely different from what people expect from them is a big plus for me. Not much info was given, not even a date or platform release.

VGA 2011: Command and Conquer: Generals 2 Debut Trailer

Command & Conquer: Generals 2 was revealed during this years Video Game Awards and is being developed by Bioware's new studio called Bioware Victory. While the video does not reveal that much of the game, the debut trailer reveals Generals 2's in-game graphics using Battlefield 3's Frostbite 2 engine. This is a PC exclusive and hopefully this will revive the famous Command & Conquer franchise.

This game is still has a long way to go. Command and Conquer: Generals 2 is set to be released on 2013.

VGA 2011: Mass Effect 3 exclusive trailer

Mass Effect 3 Mass Effect 3 not only makes an appearance yet again in this years Video Game Awards, but they also won Most antipicated game of 2012 thanks to viewer votes. The trailer has nothing new but shows Commander Shepard powering through a huge Reaper with a help of a Thrasher Maw.

Its not a shocker to see Mass Effect 3 make an appearance yet again for the VGA's. Mass Effect 3 made its debut reveal in the VGA's last year. Now there's only a couple of months left to see how the war against the Reapers conclude.

As usual, Shepard is tasked to make another miracle by fending off a Reaper invasion. There's seems to be a lot of colossal encounters for the third and final entry in Shepard's story. Can't wait on how this all ends. Mass Effect 3 will hit stores on March 6, 2012 for Xbox 360, Playstation, and PC

VGA weekend, what are you playing

video game awards 2011 The Spike Video Game Awards 2011 is happening this weekend but what do you do while waiting for a show about video games? Play more video games! So, what are you playing?

Migoy: Did a bit of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 training. Finally looked at the move list of some characters as opposed to just trying every hadouken and shoryuken command with every character I try. Strangely enough I spent almost an hour playing Power Rangers: Samurai on the Wii. I got the game last week cause it was my nephew’s birthday and he loves Power Rangers. Good mindless fun and perfect for the kids. Did I mention that it has 2 player co-op? After that I played a bit of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Made my way to the forest temple which is probably the least intimidating forest temple from any 3D Zelda game but it’s ok. The motion controls are a absolute blast, flailing has never felt so good. Oh and I did spend some time playing a bunch of PS3 demos like Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition and WWE All-Stars.

Quash: Played a bit of DC Universe Online together with Battlefield 3. Why I re-downloaded DCUO again, I have no idea. Maybe because its free now? Anyway, since Back to Karkand is now out for the PS3, I've been trying the new maps out and their pretty fun to play on. A bit buggy still with invisible walls in some areas and some ledges where you can jump over. The four new maps feels a bit small compared to maps like Caspian Border but their a welcome addition to the lineup of maps. I finished Skyrim last week around tuesday and already started my second playthrough. Planning to continue playing when the 1.3 patch arrives so I can install the game for less loading time. It can take quite awhile when your midway into the game.
