David Jaffe is giving fans a chance to shoot his truck

Twisted Metal - Shootmytruck David Jaffe, creator of God of War and Twisted Metal series, is giving fans a chance to shoot a replica of Sweet Tooth's truck in the comfort of your home. Yes that's right, during the 14th and 15th of February, sign up via Facebook or Twitter and get a chance to pull the trigger on a machine gun from your very own PC. Pretty twisted ad campaign, check out the video.

I'm definitely going to sign up and see if I can shoot way over here in the Philippines. If it worked then awesome. No, sadness.

That's going to be tons of people pressing that button. Whoever is there to reload the gun is going to have a hard two days of work that's for sure.

Twisted Metal is coming out on Single's Appreciation Day, which is on February 14 for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Twisted Metal has gone gold

Twisted Metal 2012 Twisted Metal has gone gold, and is all set for its February 14 release date. Chad Cox, producer of the new Twisted Metal at Eat Sleep Play brings the news to the Playstation Blog with info about what will be included when you buy Twisted Metal.

Each copy of Twisted Metal will provide a voucher to earn a Sweet Tooth Outcast skin for Starhawk. Not interesting? Yea, thought so too. But what's included on the Limited Editon of Twisted Metal is another story.

Each Limited Edition will included a code to download a digital copy of Twisted Metal black. David Jaffe revealed that  the first copies of Twisted Metal will include Twisted Metal black. Those first copies mention are obviously the Limited Edition of the game. If you pre-ordered the game, you get an automatic upgrade to the Limited Edition.

A true Playstation classic is returning. Twisted Metal will be out on Valentines Day, February 14, 2012 exclusively for the Playstation 3.

Twisted Metal 2012: Mr Grimm Trailer

Twisted Metal 2012 Since the announcement of Twisted Metal'sdelay to Valentine's Day, the game has been quiet. Guess their hard at work in making sure the delay was worth the wait. Well, the game resurfaces yet again with an awesome trailer which to me beats everything else they have shown us thus far. Have a look at the Mr Grimm trailer.

Thank god they brought a trailer because with all the awesome games out now, I completely forgot that this is still on its way(hopefully). I'm once again excited for this classic to come back, please no more delays. Twisted Metal is out on February 14, 2012 exclusively for Playstation 3.

Twisted Metal launching on Valentine's Day

Hopefully this new date sticks. Twisted Metal gets a new release date and it will be on Valentine's Day. If by any chance you don't have plans on that special day at least you can grab Twisted Metal. If you do have a date, maybe squeeze in to buy the game? I'm sure your date will understand.

David Jaffe revealed the new date on the Playstation Blog with a little video.  A few weeks ago, he also revealed the huge delay back to 2012. It was originally date for October 4, but they needed the delay since they won't make the release date, the game was just not ready. With around 6 months to go until the release, David Jaffe and his team have all the time they need to polish, develop, and hopefully create the best Twisted Metal title.

Also in the video is a teaser of the story trailer of Doll Face. Yes, it is hilarious that they release teasers for trailers nowadays. A teaser for a teaser. Since I can't find a YouTube of the announcement right now, here's the link again of the announcement.

Twisted Metal - Juggernaut and Talon gameplay

Completely forgot about the new Twisted Metal for the PS3. Found this video giving six minutes of gameplay footage showing off Juggernaut and Talon.

It's not the best video to show off the new Twisted Metal but it's a good reminder that Twisted Metal is finally back.

I heard Twisted Metal started development as a PSN title which you can just download. When Sony saw the work they actually were impressed and requested a full retail game. Thank god Sony pushed for a retail because a downloadable title won't work for the Twisted Metal fans out there.

Twisted Metal is set to be released on October 4, 2011 on exclusively on the Playstation 3.
