Medal of Honor: Warfighter Open Beta available this weekend... for Xbox 360 only

Waiting for a  Medal of Honor: Warfighter beta? Well , the open beta is coming this weekend, on October 5. That is, if you have an Xbox 360. The Open Beta will feature the new game mode called Hotspot in which you must defend different points in the map. Check the Open Beta announcement below.

I'm scratching my head now to why this "Open Beta" is exclusive to Xbox 360. Whatever reason they have, wouldn't it be beneficial for everybody if the beta was available in all platforms?

For the people who have an Xbox 360, get ready to download the beta this weekend!

Latest Medal of Honor: Warfighter trailer heads to the Philippines

Now would you look at that. EA released the latest gameplay trailer for Medal of Honor: Warfighter and the fight takes place in my country, the Philippines. Tier 1 Operatives head over to  Isabela City, Basilan and go head to head with a bunch of armed men. This is the first gameplay trailer for the game and we've seen this before - Explosions, gunfights, the usual FPS that comes out every year. Check the trailer below.

I think the last time I saw the Philippines used as a stage in a video game was in Front Mission 3 in the PSone system.

EA's answer to that other FPS coming out this year will be out on October 23 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter announcement trailer

EA unveils the next title for the Medal of Honor series called Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Your once again among tier 1 operators, and is EA's 2012 shooter.

It looks like this time around you'll be moving around the globe dealing with a terrorist treat. "This time Tier 1 is going global" EA says describing the game. You know how it is. The trailer doesn't seem to show anything we haven't seen before, but this game will definitely go against whatever Call of Duty game that's set for a 2012 release.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter has already a release date. The new shooter will be out on October 23, 2012 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. pre-ordering it will upgrade you to this Limited Edition of the game. The contents of the Limited Edition is still unknown.
