This pretty much happens when Dance Central meets Han Solo

Kinect: Star Wars I'm picking up my blaster, put it on my side, I'm jumpin' in my Falcon, Wookiee at my side. Wait what!? Yes, not only do you pretend to be a Jedi in Kinect: Star Wars, you can also show off your moves in their Dance Central-ish dance mode. I'm laughing my ass off at the same time quite disappointed as a Star Wars fan.

Not sure how well it will do in sales but I highly doubt the new Kinect: Star Wars will fly for any core gamers. Casual? Definitely , but I remember Microsoft saying Kinect: Star Wars is one of those titles that would appeal to core gamers. Well, doesn't look like it. Here's the release trailer of Kinect: Star Wars.

Kinect: Star Wars Launch Trailer

On a side note, that Xbox 360 Star Wars edition just looks amazing.

Burnout Crash for Kinect David Hasselhoff Trailer

Burnout Crash is out and even though the game still doesn't sit well with my gut, I've seen a few positive reviews about it. But I'm not going to talk about those reviews. I'm here to show off the Kinect functionality that Crash has and it has the Hoffster in it.

Very little actual Kinect functionality was shown in the trailer (if those were even real control gestures at all) but it has David Hasselhoff in it and he wears a chicken suit.  That's all you really need.

Well that's the Press Conference from start to finish. I honestly have to say this is the weakest Microsoft Press conference I've seen. It was all for the casual gamers. Microsoft was all about Kinect making everything from Xbox live to hardcore games having Kinect support. This Press Conference was like Nintendo's Press Conference a few year back when they were introducing wii sports, Wii Fit, etc, all aiming at the casual market. Problem is, i was expecting new exclusive games for the Xbox 360 and was only introduced with familiar games such as Gears 3, Fable, Mass Effect 3, Modern Warefare 3 and Halo 4. Everything else was Kinect games. it's good to give Kinect more exposure and games but they needed a fresh exclusive lineup.

Ending the conference by revealing Halo 4 with a trailer surprised me. Not because it's Halo 4, but the fact that it will be a trilogy. When they announced a new trilogy, i was hyped and thought "new game, sweet!"  but was actually halo with 5 6 sure to be made. It's a great franchise but when will it end??

The best ones coming out of this Press Conference for me has to be the application of Voice Recognition(especially Mass Effect 3) and the Tomb Raider Live Demo. Microsoft done, what did you guys think?

No wonder there's no news about UFC Undisputed 2011.

Kinect: Gunstringer first look

Gunstringer is developed by Twisted Pixel and published my Microsoft Game Studios. This Xbox Live Arcade Game will be one of the first Kinect game that doesn't only cater to the casual gamer. Oh and you get to sit down while playing this game.

You basically control the Gunstringer, an undead marionette sheriff betrayed by his posse. He emerges from his grave and goes on a quest in search for his old Posse to get revenge, picking them off one by one. You control Gunstringer with your left and right hand. Your left hand is how you control Gunstringer strafing from left to right by moving your hand. The right hand controls your gun. You shape your right as gun and as you aim at your enemies you get to lock on them.  doing a firing gesture will make you shoot and watch Gunstringer shoot all that was lock-on.

It's a great concept and looks fun. No definite date yet for Gunstringer but they are aiming around the end of 2011.
