Warframe Studio Announces Soulframe, a New Free-to-Play Action MMORPG

During TennoCon 2022, Digital Extremes revealed a new IP called Soulframe, a free-to-play MMORPG currently in early development. 

The cinematic trailer released displays a high-fantasy setting for Soulframe with nature being an integral part in the game’s concept. In a press release, the creative director Geoff Crookes for Soulframe says they pulled “inspiration from the elaborate fantasy worlds that we fell in love with growing up”, also mentioning that the team is “heavily influenced by themes of nature, restoration, and exploration”. 

As reported by the Washington Post, This new project is being led by Steve Sinclair, the director of the free-to-play Warframe, who is stepping down to focus on Soulframe. This new title is still in early development but it will deliver cooperative PvE with procedurally generated environments. 

There is currently no platform announced for Soulframe or even a release window. For more information about the new game you can check out its official website, which requires you to solve a simple puzzle to get more details about the game.
