Developer Daedalic Entertainment released their latest game The Lord of the Rings: Gollum last week on May 25, 2023, and is currently one of the lowest-scored titles on Metacritic this year as it stands with a Metacritic score of around 36 with a user reviews score of around 1.4. With the current reception this game is receiving, the developers issued an apology for the current state of the game.

THQ Nordic and developer Pieces Interactive revealed during the Alone in the Dark reboot’s spotlight event revealed that the game will launch on October 25, 2023.
