Square Enix and Developer Creative Business Unit III have taken an uncommon approach with their highly anticipated action RPG, Final Fantasy XVI. Unlike most games in the current era, the developers have announced that there will be no day one patch for the game's release.

THQ Nordic announced that the Alone in the Dark reboot will have a Spotlight livestream event happening on May 26, at 8 AM GMT+8. The show will focus solely on the new game, which was announced back in August 2022.

NetherRealm Studios have announced the next mainline entry in the fighting game series Mortal Kombat. It’s called Mortal Kombat 1 and it’s set to launch on September 19, 2023. The game will feature rollback netcode, a Kameo assist system, and a completely rebooted world in the eyes of Liu Kang.

Bungie has revealed Destiny 2’s weapon changes that will go live when Season 21 drops as there are 17 Exotic Weapon updates, weapon balances such as a nerf to the SMG Immortal, as well as some quality-of-life improvements you’d appreciate if you are a veteran player.

Sony Interactive Entertainment officially announced the next big PlayStation Showcase will go live on May 24, 2023.  It will last for over 1 hour and will focus on PS5 and PS VR 2 titles currently in development from first-party studios, third-party, and indie.

Blizzard released a new video for their upcoming action RPG Diablo IV, focusing on the game’s lore as this game takes place 50 years after the events in Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls.

The team working on Blizzard’s Overwatch 2 announced that they are no longer releasing the promised PvE Hero mode that was revealed when the sequel was announced in 2019. They are now going to divert all their efforts to the game’s live service and release story-based content in future seasons.

After just 12 months, the battle royale online game Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt is ceasing active development, meaning there will be no further updates for the game. But the game will remain online and available to play… for now.

Ubisoft has unveiled the upcoming Rainbow Six Siege season called Operation Dread Factor, which contains a new Defender Operator, a rework of the Consulate map, improvements to Grim, an improved Shooting Range, and more.
