EA and Respawn Entertainment released a new story trailer for their upcoming action game Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, which is slated to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC on April 28, 2023.

Sega announced that the Sonic Frontiers ‘Sights, Sounds, and Speed’ free content update will go live this week, March 23, 2023, for all platforms. A 1-hour trial for the game will also be available to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers this week.

New Information has surfaced regarding Square Enix’s upcoming Final Fantasy XVI as the latest interview with the devs in Famitsu magazine revealed that the game will talk around 35 hours to complete the main story. If you do most of the side quests, your total time can reach over 70 hours. 

Over the weekend I participated in Capcom’s open beta test for their upcoming online action game Exoprimal. There was only one game mode available, Dino Survival, and it gave me a rather good impression of the game’s multiplayer portion, but also some concerns if Capcom wants this game to have a decent player base weeks after release.

Ubisoft announced that those owning Far Cry 5 on consoles can now play the game at 60 fps if running on a PS5 and Xbox Series. Xbox Series owners can also play the game on a higher resolution. Also, a free weekend for the game was announced and is happening from March 23 - 27.

Blizzard is ramping up for Diablo IV’s biggest showing to the public this week as the Early Access beta begins this weekend. To get everyone ready, players who have early access can start pre-loading the beta version of the game as early as March 15. 

Capcom’s new IP Exoprimal is now set to go live on July 14, 2023. A new trailer also dropped to give us a new look at the crazy team-based action game where you fight waves of dinosaurs. It was also revealed that those interested in checking out the game can do so during the Open Beta happening on March 17 - 19.

Capcom announced that the remake of Resident Evil 4 now has a playable demo on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC (via Steam). There’s no time limit in the demo and they call it the ‘Chainsaw Demo’.

Sega and Two Point Studios announced that the second DLC for their quirky university simulator Two Point Campus is ‘School Spirits’ and it’s launching next week, March 15 on all platforms.
