Respawn Entertainment has revealed the next event for their free-to-play battle royale shooter Apex legends titled ‘Dark Depths’ which will start on January 11 and will run until February 1. The event will feature a new Arenas map called Habitat, themed cosmetics, and weekly Flash Events.

The second major DLC for Ubisoft Tornoto’s Far Cry 6 titled Pagan: Control is set to launch on January 11, 2022. This piece of content is part of the game’s Season Pass and it let’s players embody Far Cry 4 antagonist Pagan Min to explore the character’s psyche.

Publisher Square Enix and developer PlatinumGames has announced that the co-op action RPG Babylon’s Fall has officially gone gold way ahead of it’s March 3, 2022 release date. It was announced during the developers first livestream for the game.

Sony starts the year with first details on the new VR headset for the PS5. The official name of the new device is the PlayStation VR2 and the controllers paired with it will be called the PlayStation Sense controller. PlayStation announced that the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will be available on the PS5 and PC on January 28, 2022. This collection contains Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, and if you own the PS4 copies of the game and want to get all the benefits from the PS5 version, it will cost you $10.

Final Fantasy XIV Online’s latest expansion titled Endwalker has gone live for those with early access and has experienced long queue times over the weekend. As compensation for players unable to play MMORPG’s latest content right away, Square Enix promised to give an extra seven days of game time for the inconvenience.

PlayStation has officially announced the free games lineup for PlayStation Plus this December 2021 and it’s a pretty solid lineup for those subscribed. It’s just unusual for PS5 players as what they get this month is only the endgame portion of Godfall, a game released last year.
