Far Cry 6’s second major DLC, Pagan: Control, releases next week
The second major DLC for Ubisoft Tornoto’s Far Cry 6 titled Pagan: Control is set to launch on January 11, 2022. This piece of content is part of the game’s Season Pass and it let’s players embody Far Cry 4 antagonist Pagan Min to explore the character’s psyche.
Just like the first major DLC released last November – where you get to embody the character Vaas from Far Cry 3 – players will be going through a rogue-like type of gameplay where you start with nothing and work your way up, unlocking more gear as you progress through the DLC.
According to Ubisoft, “Pagan: Control will provide a unique opportunity for players to explore Pagan’s mind, learn more about his past, and face off against familiar faces as he struggles to break free from his cycle of guilt and regrets.”
The last and final major DLC that’s part of the Far Cry 6 Season Pass will be Joseph: Collapse and this time you get to embody Far Cry 5’s Joseph Seed and is planned to come out later this year.
Far Cry 6 released last year and just like other titles from Ubisoft, the open world shooter has an extensive post-content roadmap that consists of free and paid DLCs, one of which includes actor Danny Trejo because why not.
Far Cry 6 is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC.
Ubisoft Philippines has come a long way since it was established 10 years ago. From humble beginnings to now being equipped with a capable team of developers, the studio tour I participated in showed where they are a decade later, and how their efforts resulted in what we see in certain parts of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced.
