Battlefield 2042 - it’s okay if DICE delays this one
Battlefield 2042’s open beta occurred last weekend and I was able to spend a few hours with the game on both the PC and PS5. With just one map, I was able to get a good idea of what to expect from DICE’s next entry in the Battlefield series, but once I was done with it I was left worried and wouldn’t mind if they need to delay the game further to get things right.
Grand Theft Auto trilogy announced by Rockstar
Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas are being remastered and packaged in the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition. It’s set to launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The collection is also set to come out on Android and iOS sometime in 2022.

Extreme sports game Riders Republic is set to launch at the end of this month and Ubisoft has detailed the post-launch content planned for the game’s first year.
Far Cry 6 features a cockfighting mini-game
Far Cry 6 is the latest entry in Ubisoft’s long-running open world FPS series and it comes out tomorrow and it seems to feature a cockfighting mini-game. But this isn’t a simple game of betting on a rooster and hoping you win a few bucks. You get to control the animal in the form of a fighting game.
Tales of Arise is getting Sword Art Online DLC
Bandai Namco announced that a new DLC pack will allow players to fight against Sword Art Online’s Kirito and Asuna in Tales of Arise. The pack also features new outfits for selected characters, plus unlock an exclusive Mystic Arte for Alphen.

Battlefield 2042 open beta begins on October 6 for those that preordered the game and is an EA Play member. The beta will then be available to all players from various platforms starting on October 8 and will run until October 9, 2021.
PlayStation Plus 2021 October games reportedly leaked
It looks like the PS Plus free games for October 2021 have been leaked by the same source that correctly leaked September’s lineup. If it comes out true, subscribers will get Hell Let Loose (PS5), Mortal Kombat X (PS4) and PGA Tour 2K21 (PS4) on October 5.
