Ubisoft announced that they are no longer supporting Watch Dogs: Legion with additional content, making Title Update 5.6 the final major patch.

Those interested in trying out Watch Dogs: Legion for free can do so this weekend as Ubisoft is hosting a Free Weekend for the open world game from September 4 to September 6.

Despite it’s short runtime, Bloodlines comes out as the better campaign, making it clear that a legion of operatives is less appealing compared to a fully fledged protagonist complete with a strong motivation and is surrounded by strong supporting characters.

Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs: Legion was just updated with Title Update 4.5, and in it includes the zombies PvE co-op mode where you fight to survive against hordes of zombies. It’s currently on it’s Alpha phase but PC players get first dibs on trying out the free game mode.

Ubisoft is opening the gates to Watch Dogs: Legion this weekend with a free trial session that will start from March 26 until March 29. Players can try out the single player campaign and the recently released online mode and your progress will carry over once you own a copy of the game.

Ubisoft just announced that console players with Watch Dogs: Legion can boot their copy, update it, and jump into the new free online mode which lets you play the open world in co-op mode for up to four players. This version of the world has a variety of online activities, missions, and challenges.

Watch Dogs: Legion’s multiplayer modes was originally planned for a December 3 release this year for free, but due to a series of bugs and issues that has plagued the game since launch, Ubisoft announced that they will focus on resolving the current issues for the rest of the year.

As I did with the first two entries, I came into Watch Dogs: Legion with pretty mellow expectations, and like them, Legion impressed me just enough. While the story doesn't know what it wants to be half the time, the cast of villains is mercifully more interesting.
