It's a Watch Dogs: Legion free weekend once again

Those interested in trying out Watch Dogs: Legion for free can do so this weekend as Ubisoft is hosting a Free Weekend for the open world game from September 4 to September 6.

What’s interesting about these Free Weekends is that there’s no limit as to how much you can play in the single player campaign and it’s online mode. For an added bonus, your progression will be carried over if you like what you do and decide to pick up the full game on your preferred platform.

To support the upcoming Free Weekend, Watch Dogs: Legion’s various editions will be 60% off while the season pass will be 35% off via PC (Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store). The deluxe and gold edition of the game for PS5 and PS4 are 57% during the weekend.

Pre-load for the game is available right now for those interested in saving London as a legion of Ded-sec operatives.

Watch Dogs: Legion has seen various changes and improvements since it’s October 2020 release. It’s definitely less buggy compared to launch day and it’s online mode is now available on all platforms. The game has received a series of free content updates that supports both the single player campaign and the online mode. Their first story expansion featuring Watch Dogs protagonist Aiden Pierce is also now available, and the game has a zombies mode now because why not.

If you’re curious about what we thought about the game after finishing the game’s campaign, you can read our review here. I also reviewed the Bloodline expansion which surprisingly had a more entertaining story compared to the full game’s campaign.

Ubisoft looks to continue supporting the game with more updates. Last month, they released new missions for free for all players. Season Pass got a new playable character named Darcy, a  futuristic assassin, crossing over the world of Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed in this update.
