EA and Battlefield Mobile developer Industrial Toys are inviting those in the Philippines a chance to be part of the game’s upcoming Alpha Test. Those interested can pre-registered through the Google Play Store.

No date was given as to when the Alpha Test will go live but you can pre-register as early as today for a shot at getting in.

Battlefield Mobile will be available on iOS and Android and there is currently no details if there will be a similar alpha test through the iOS platform.

Battlefield Mobile will feature 32-player matches with vehicles and destructible environments, a staple for the Battlefield series. It will also feature Levolution, dynamic events that greatly alter the game map if players trigger it. One example is the famed dynamic event of a skyscraper collapsing in the Battlefield 4 map Siege of Shanghai, completely changing the playing field. Will Battlefield Mobile deliver something similar on a grand scale? Only time will tell.

In a press release provided, Battlefield Mobile will feature classic maps and I noticed they are maps first introduced in Battlefield 3. Maps mentioned are Damavand Peak , Noshahr Canals Grand Bazaar , and Operation Metro. It’s not stated if the full roster of maps at launch will be a mix of classic maps from previous titles but it did mention there will be brand new maps for Battlefield Mobile.

It feels like the game is in a really early state as not much information is available, moreso official gameplay footage. This early play test is quite limited as players from Indonesia and the Philippines are the only regions currently invited.

In the Battlefield mobile test FAQ, the beta will be available for phones running Android 7.0 and up.

I’m not expecting a sudden surge of Battlefield Mobile information anytime soon as it’s likely EA is all hands on deck to support the release of DICE’s Battlefield 2042, the next mainline entry in the Battlefield series set to launch on October 22, 2021.
