Sonic Frontiers was just updated with its third major free content update title ‘Final Horizon’, giving players a new island to explore, as well as allowing players to play as Sonic’s friends and more.

During the 2023 Gamescom Opening Night Live showcase, Sega revealed the third free content update for Sonic Frontiers and it’s a big one as this adds a new story on Ouranos Island that introduces Amy, Knuckles, and Tails as playable characters.

To start the new month, Sega is hosting a Summer Sale on the PlayStation Store in Asia regions for a limited time. New titles like Sonic Frontiers, Like a Dragon: Ishin, and more will be discounted from August 1 until August 16, 2023.

Sega announced that the Sonic Frontiers ‘Sights, Sounds, and Speed’ free content update will go live this week, March 23, 2023, for all platforms. A 1-hour trial for the game will also be available to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers this week.

Sonic Frontiers is set to launch next month as SEGA announced that a free Monster Hunter Collaboration DLC is coming to the game on November 14, a week after it releases.

SEGA released our first look at gameplay footage for Sonic Frontiers with IGN set to cover the open world game for the rest of June. To kick things off, they released seven minutes of Sonic going around the game’s open world.
