2022 has come and gone and it  was a fantastic year for gaming for a variety of reasons. We did have a few disappointments here and there but the considered “big hitters” definitely hit the mark and we had a few indies surprising as well. For me, these are the best games to come out of the year 2022.

Sifu is the perfect representation of why the martial arts genre is so beloved by many and tackled through various mediums through the years. The amount of detail in the moves shown in this game empowers the player, making you feel like you can take on the world.

Last weekend was all abou Sifu, developer Sloclap’s action Kung fu game that was released back in February 2022. A game that revolves around revenge and that your death isn’t the end as you revive older but hopefully wiser. It’s a game that is better than I expected and is currently up there as one of the best games to come out in 2022.

Looks like developer Sloclap is not done supporting their action game Sifu as they announced free updates roadmap which starts Spring 2022. The first free update goes alongside the game’s physical release which is on May 3.

Sifu launched digitally on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC through the Epic Games Store back in February 8, and developer Sloclap announced that the game reached one million sales in its first three weeks of release.

It’s now February 2022 and I’ve never seen this month packed with big games releasing so close to each other during the shortest month of the year. There’s a lot to look forward to, but here are the big games to keep an eye on.

PlayStation announced 10 games will be featured and that’s exactly what was delivered during the State of Play for February 2021. Here’s a quick rundown of what was revealed.
