Sony has raised the price of all PlayStation 5 models in the US by $50, starting August 21. Here’s how the new prices compare to other regions worldwide.

During the May 2023 PlayStation Showcase, Konami revealed a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, the title that served as a prequel to the original game. They also announced the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection coming to the PS5, containing MGS, MGS 2, and MGS 3.

A new promotional video went live this week and revealed that Square Enix’s next entry in the Final Fantasy series Final Fantasy XVI, will be a PS5 exclusive only for the first six months after it launches. The RPG is currently slated for a Summer 2023 release.

Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that their highly customizable version of the PS5 controller called the DualSense Edge will launch on January 26, 2023 and will cost $200. Pre-orders for the controller go live next week, October 25.

Pre-orders for Horizon Forbidden West went live today and details of each edition of the game was revealed. It also confirmed that PlayStation will not offer a separate PS5 upgrade if you choose to buy the PS4 version first. The only option at the moment is purchasing the Digital Deluxe edition or the collector’s edition, a more expensive package compared to the standard and special editions.

June is here and that means a new batch of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. On June 6, users with PS Plus can download Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (PS4), WWE 2K Battlegrounds (PS4), and A Plague Tale: Innocence (PS5) for free.

Sony interactive Entertainment Singapore has announced that the two new colors of the PS5 DualSense Controller, Midnight Black and Cosmic Red, will be released in the Philippines on June 10, 2021.

The next big PlayStation 5 exclusive is exactly a month away from release as Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is still on track to release on June 11, 2021 in the Philippines. The suggested retail price for the game is set at PHP 3,490.

Returnal has a crazy sci-fi narrative, a roguelike gameplay loop tied into crazy bullet hell situations, making this a stressful but satisfying adventure that should appease PS5 owners looking for new experiences. It’s all so well-done, however, that even though one aspect of this game might be enough to turn you off completely, another could make this a game worth playing from start to finish.
