“This has been coming for years,” opined Jason Schreier. “Activision and Bungie have had a rocky relationship since before Destiny 1 even shipped. It's also incredible news for those of us who love Destiny and want to see it thrive.”

The publishing giant is making soft plans taking a stab at the battle royale genre. "Management reminded investors that the company is a faster follower."

 Game director Christopher Barrett addressed the complaints and the scant response that Bungie has given to feedback, by declaring, "we are no longer just listening, we are doing."

Story content for the first two planets -- Earth's European Dead Zone and Saturn's moon, Titan -- will be available for play, as well as the pre-endgame social space known as The Farm.
