Riot Games announces the 2XKO closed beta starting September 9, 2025. Sign-ups are live, with new reveals coming at EVO 2025.

NetEase Games has announced a free-to-play new team-based 6v6 online game called Marvel Rivals. From the first teaser trailer, this is simply Overwatch with Marvel characters. A Closed Alpha test is planned sometime in May where you can play 12 out of the 19 playable characters.

Bandai Namco Entertainment is hosting a Tekken 8 Closed Beta Test this October for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (through Steam). This beta test will feature six stages, 19 playable characters, and multiple game modes. Testers from the Closed Network Test will instantly have access to this next test.

Amplitude Studios and Sega announced that the closed beta for Endless Dungeon begins on September 7 and will run until September 18 for PC only. Those who own the Last Wish Edition of the game get instant access to the Closed Beta and can give up to two friends beta access to join them in trying out the game.

Ubisoft shared more details about the closed beta for the greatly delayed pirate game Skull and Bones happening on August 25 until August 28 via PC only through their launcher Ubisoft Connect.

The upcoming sim theme park game Beyond Park is hosting a closed beta for the game from May 9 until May 19 on PC and registrations are still open. Players get access to two missions in the game’s campaign as well as its Sandbox mode.

Ubisoft announced that the closed beta for their free-to-play competitive FPS game XDefiant is now live worldwide and will run until April 23. Those interested in checking out the new shooter can either register to get in the beta or watch Twitch streamers with Drops enabled to get access to the beta.

Capcom announced that their upcoming fighting game Street Fighter 6 is getting a second Closed Beta test starting from December 16, 2022 and will last until December 19, 2022. Those participated in the first test will automatically be part of the second beta.

The second Closed Beta for The Cycle: Frontier is currently underway and I've been jumping in, looting, shooting, completing tasks, stocking up my storage with valuable loot and weapons. After 10 hours of playtime I see the appeal of high-stakes online shooters as this game is a great introduction to this concept.

The reboot to the real-time strategy game The Settlers will release on PC on March 17, Ubisoft announced. Those eager to play this version of the RTS classic can register for the closed beta happening from January 20 -24.

The For Honor Closed Beta concluded and left many of us quite happy with Ubisoft's melee-focused game. Simple to learn, fun to master.
