Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 just turned one year old, and developer Ninja Theory is marking the anniversary by announcing that the critically acclaimed sequel is coming to PlayStation 5 this summer. While no exact release date has been revealed, it’s officially on the way.

This version is being dubbed the Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 Enhanced, and it promises improved visuals and new features. Ninja Theory has been hard at work optimizing the experience across all platforms in preparation for the PS5 launch.

The enhanced version will also be available on Xbox Series X|S and PC as a free update when the PS5 version drops this summer.

When I played and reviewed Hellblade 2 last year, it was a surreal and powerful experience. I still highly recommend it to players who are open to unique storytelling and atmospheric world-building.

Some players were also disappointed by its short runtime—it can be completed in roughly 7 hours, making it easy to finish in a single sitting.
