HoYoverse announced that their upcoming action RPG Zenless Zone Zero will have its third closed beta session soon and that registration for it is now available. Known as the Amplifying Test, this session will feature changes to the game’s combat, a new character, Hollow exploration systems which are meant to improve flow and pacing, and more.

The start and close dates for the Amplifying Test will be announced at a later date.

The Amplifying Test will also showcase a new character named Zhuu Yuan, a new faction called the New Eridu Public Security's Criminal Investigation Special Response Team, the new Bangboo mechanics, combat challenges, and more.

Here is more detail about the game and the upcoming closed beta from HoYoverse’s press release:

The upcoming closed beta test is expected to bring about significant improvements to the game's overall gameplay experience. Thanks to the latest upgrade of the HDD System, players will be able to explore the Hollows in a more efficient manner using the TV Wall (a.k.a. the Hollow Board), which has been optimized to a considerable extent. After several iterations, combat design is now more dynamic, maximizing excitement for both newcomers and hardcore players, especially in Rally Missions and Hollow Zero. Finally, New Eridu offers more urban life events and city guidance to provide its "citizens" with an immersive residential experience.

About Zenless Zone Zero:
