New Devil in Me Trailer Highlights the Game’s Various Features like an inventory system

The devil in me's latest trailer highlighting the game's inventory system

The latest trailer for Supermassive Games’ narrative driven game The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me highlights all the big features that will be available when it launches this November.

The next entry in The Dark Pictures Anthology series follows a group of individuals visiting a creepy hotel with a mysterious host putting guests in deadly situations where any wrong move could be their last. Players will need to navigate through various puzzles and traps in order to hopefully keep one or all of the playable characters alive in this 7+ hour campaign.

Devil in Me will also feature local and online multiplayer, giving other players the opportunity to dictate the narrative with their own choice. This time around, this entry is more interactive than previous titles as it will require players to move objects and traverse certain areas to progress. There’s also an inventory system which may sound basic but is something we don’t see in games produced by Supermassive Games as gameplay is mostly you guiding characters to explore, make decisions during conversations and interact with quick-time events that may or may not affect the overall story.

The Devil in Me marks the end of season one forThe Dark Pictures Anthology series, which is currently planned to have eight games. The other three games now available are, Man of Medan, Little Hope, and House of Ashes, all story-driven titles with their own set of characters and story that have no connection between one another.

The Devil in Me will launch on November 18, 2022 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
