Since the story trailer was revealed in March 2024, there haven’t been many updates on the project. The initial 2025 release window never felt realistic, especially now that we’re already halfway through May. No actual gameplay footage has been shown so far, but the in-game cutscenes we’ve seen are pretty impressive, specifically the facial animations and the character detail. Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra looks poised to deliver a cinematic experience in the same vein as Uncharted from Naughty Dog.
Have a look at the story trailer below.
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is set in the 1940s and features Captain America and Azzuri—the Black Panther of that era and grandfather of T’Challa. The two start off as unlikely allies but will likely join forces to confront a sinister plot that could have a major impact on World War II. They’re joined by Gabriel Jones, a U.S. soldier, and Nanali, a Wakandan spy.
Platforms for Marvel 1943 have yet to be announced.
A stunning surprise hit—Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 blends rich storytelling, surreal visuals, and deep turn-based combat into a modern RPG classic. This game doesn’t just deliver a fantastic RPG experience—it leaves a lasting emotional imprint that’s hard to forget.
