Sega and developer Amplitude Studios released new details of one of the playable heroes called Fassie in their squad-based tactical rogue-lite game set to release on consoles and PC this October.
Based on the information released by Sega, Fassonandu (Fassie) is a Drakken, a species once native to the planet Auriga. The Endless fund them fascinating enough to distribute their DNA for manipulation across dozens of labs in dozens of systems, and as a result there are little pockets of Drakken all over the place.
However, the resident mixologist is a unique Drakken as he’s equipped as a great crowd-control hero for any team.
Here’s a breakdown of his skills.
Stay Classy (Passive Skill) – Wit is increased for each monster in the same room (up to a cap)
Shot! (Special Skill) – Throws a drink at a targeted hero whose Fire rate and Attack Damage are increased depending on the number of monsters in the room (up to a cap)
Bar Fight (Ultimate Skill) – Nearby monsters fight each other while efficiency of nearby Heroes increases
Those who have pre-ordered the game on PC will get to participate in the closed beta for Endless Dungeon from September 7 to September 18.
Endless Dungeon is set to release on October 19.
It’s easy to describe Animal Well as a puzzle-focused Metroidvania eschewing traditional combat, where nearly every room is a puzzle room, but that falls so far short of describing just what this game is and how expertly it defies genre and classification that it feels like a disservice.
