At the PlayStation Showcase, Insomniac Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment announced Marvel’s Wolverine for the PlayStation 5.
Based on a blog post about Marvel’s Wolverine, this particular character was one Insomniac Games felt excited to work on that came up as early as when they were planning to do the first Spider-Man game. Looks like everything went well years later as they will be working on a Wolverine game alongside Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which was also announced at the digital showcase.
Insomniac Games is a busy studio but unlike Spidey 2, which is set to come out in 2023, Marvel’s Wolverine does not have a release window, and with the teaser shown at the PlayStation Showcase, it’s likely in early in development.

From dungeon design to new features and returning challenges, there's plenty to consider as we await the return of this N64 classic.
