Latest Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut patch adds Horizon-themed armor

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut received a 2.15 and with it not only comes with a few bug fixes, it adds a new Horizon-themed armor to celebrate the upcoming release of Horizon Forbidden West next week.

How to complete the Forbidden Shrine puzzle

If you’re interested in donning the new armor, it’s rather easy to pick up as all you need to do is head to a Wind Shrine north of Iki Island in Raider’s Promontory and solve a quick puzzle to unlock the armor.

You’ll encounter a group of bandits when you reach the Forbidden Shrine. Take them out then make your way to the shrine that’s facing the ocean. It reads - "The old world is gone. Though life is never-ending. Focus your spirit. Take up the Archer's mantle. A Seeker must aim for truth."

All you have to do is wear  Tadayori's armor or his straw hat and you’ll be able to see three glowing weak points in the statue by pressing on the touch pad, imitating Aloy’s way of scanning the area for vital information through her focus device. From here, just shoot the three glowing spots with fire arrows and you’re all set to roam around with the new Horizon-theme armor.

It’s a small addition from Sucker Punch to show support for fellow colleagues at Guerilla Games as Horizon Forbidden West is set to launch next week on February 18, 2022 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
