Genshin Impact Version 3.1 Goes Live on September 28

Mihoyo just revealed the content coming in the version 3.1 update titled ‘King Deshret and the Three Magi’ of Genshin Impact which goes live on September 28.

The Sumeru area was recently introduced in the game and version 3.1 is expanding on the area with a huge desert area, three new playable characters and a ton of new content. Here’s a quick rundown on what to expect when the update goes live next week.

Genshin Impact Version 3.1 "King Deshret and the Three Magi"

  • Sumeru area extended by adding a huge desert area.

  • King Deshret’s Mausoleum, dangerous dungeons, and new Archon Quests with two Fatui Harbingers

  • Two new Boss Enemies: Semi-Perpetual Control Matrix and Blightdrake with new Character Level-up Materials.

  •  Nilou, Cyno, and Candace joining as playable characters from Sumeru.

  • Reunion with Razor and other old friends in Monstadt's festival Weinlesefest.

  • Events and rewards in and outside the game

In this update, Mondstadt is preparing for the Weinlesefest, which in turn features new activities such as Of Ballads and Brews, a free-for-all tournament named Hyakunin Ikki in Inazuma City, a challenge event called Wind Chaser, and an event called Star-Seeker’s Sojourn that requires you to traverse the land to reap the rewards. 

Also coming in the 3.1 update are new weapons.
