Evil Dead: The Game delayed to May 2022

Publisher Boss Team Games and developer Saber Interactive have announced that their upcoming multiplayer game Evil Dead: The Game has been delayed yet again to May 13, 2022. The developers simply want more time to make it “worthy of the Evil Dead franchise”.

Evil Dead: The Game delayed for a second time

When Evil Dead: The Game was revealed during The Game Awards 2020, it was slated for a 2021 release but was then delayed to February 2022 to further polish the game. Now, they need to require more months as it’s launch is now moved to May.

The Evil Dead: The Game seems more focused on it’s co-op and PvP gameplay but it will have a single-player component. Players will work as a team of four survivors. You can play as any of the Evil Dead characters from the movies and the TV show Ash vs Evil Dead. Ash, Kelly Maxwell, Pablo Simon Bolivar, Scotty, Lord Arthur, and more will be available.

For an added twist, a player can play as Demon to ruin the survivor’s day with its own set of powers. Evil Dead: The Game will feature a variety of weapons that fit the Evil Dead world and skill trees to get a better advantage for certain situations in the game.

This is the second delay for Evil Dead: The Game, and will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
