ESGS's Gariath Concepts Launched Their Content Channel Called The Lobby
/ Carlos HernandezThe ongoing COVID - 19 pandemic continue to affect all kinds of businesses in the video game industry as many are forced to adapt to the situation as we move forward and continue to fight this disease together. One of them, is Gariath Concepts, one of the top esports and gaming event organizers in the Philippines who are best known for putting together events like the Esports and Gaming Summit (ESGS), and Pinoy Gaming Festival (PGF).
They have launched a new online content channel called The Lobby, another source of online entertainment in collaboration with local esports talents and content creators to launch a series of shows that would cater to the many Philippine gaming communities they’ve been engaging with throughout the years.
This is just one of the ways companies like Gariath Concepts are adapting. “When businesses got affected [by the pandemic], our thoughts went straight to the people. It’s not just our employees, but the talents we hire, the players, the community.” says Richard Brojan, Grariath’s Managing Partner when talking about The Lobby.
The Lobby launched on Facebook and on Youtube with two shows; Scream Stream, a horror game review series featuring local Youtube content creator Gloco, and Rage Quiz, a weekly live quiz show hosted by local shoutcaster Manjean Faldas which features two esports and gaming personalities battling it out in a test of knowledge on various topics.
Gariath Concepts plans to expand the number of shows available in the coming months and they’ve been at it with their first two shows since last June. All their content and future updates can be found on their Facebook page as well as their Youtube channel.
