Arc Raiders Reach Over 4 Million Units Sold in Just 11 Days

Nexon, the parent company of developer Embark Studios, has just revealed that the extraction shooter Arc Raiders has sold over 4 million units since its October 30 release. What’s even more impressive is the sudden interest and rise of the game as the days go by as it recently hit over 700,000 concurrent players across all platforms.

"We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to Embark Studios for achieving the most successful global launch in Nexon's history.” says Lee Jeong-hun, CEO of Nexon.

“We are deeply impressed by the enthusiasm shown by our player community and look forward to building on that excitement with our content plans, including new maps, ARC vehicles, weapons, and quests, which will be available starting this month."

It’s a dream start for a game like Arc Raiders, entering an intimidating gaming space where competition is fierce and the concept of an extraction shooter is something that’s hard for the casual player to fully absorb.

Surprisingly enough, their launch product spelled success as a variety of reasons contribute as to why this game is so hard to put down. I’m over 50 hours, and I share the key elements why it clicked for me. Despite it being weeks after launch, interest remains strong and positive, giving the game a high chance to get a steady playerbase to support the game in the long-term.

The first major update is coming as Embark has detailed the game’s first roadmap to lay out what to expect for the rest of 2025. Sometime this month, they will be releasing a new map, quests, new Arc enemies, and more to add more to the game to keep the momentum going.
