Battlefield 3 weapon customization video

It's not an official video showing off weapon customization, but it's someone playing the latest alpha build, and showing off the weapon customization. It's a decent demonstration, the video also demonstrates weapon recoils and many more.

The customization seems a little bit deeper compared to Bad Company 2 since weapon attachments are now seperate. This is the latest alpha build of the game, and already you can tell it still needs further testing, a lot of bugs are shown in these two videos.

There's a lot of work to be done, but they still have a few months to get Battlefield 3 ready for release. Battlefield 3 will be out on October 25 for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Bioware lets fans pick the new female Shepard look

For the first time in the series, the female Commander Shepard will be in the box art for Mass Effect 3's Collector's Edition. Since their going that way, they want to give her a new look, and the community gets to help with this decision.

The voting for the new female Shepard is all in Mass Effect's Facebook fan page, just head over to the Mass Effect album and like one of the new looks for Shepard in order to vote.

Why is the female Shepard getting this kind of treatment? well it's because overall, we apparently prefer to use the default female Shepard instead of the default male. In Bioware's data, most of the players create their own shepard, but in terms of which default character is used the most? it's female Shepard.

What are you playing this weekend?

Migoy: I finally completed all the missions in Gundam Memories. Aside from that I've been tackling some random PS2 titles. You can probably catch me live on the feed at our Jusin.tv channel.

Quash: Still playing Xenogears this weekend. Currently on 21 hours game time with Fei at level 33. Just got Elly and Rico and is heading to the Goliath factory.

Also been playing Starcraft 2 with some buddies doing 3v3 ladder. The difference of 1v1 to 2v2 and 3v3 are huge, it was hard to get used to, and most of my build orders need adjustment since there are like 2 to 3 armies to worry about. In 1v1, i'm currently going back and forth from rank 1 to rank 2 in my platinum league, and i can't seem to bump up to Diamond League.

 

Arlie: I am playing NieR this weekend. I was able to finish my first playthrough in less than 15 hours to get the trophy. I really liked the story a lot. There's still 3 more endings I need to unlock to complete it.

More info coming from Comic con 2011. Capcom not only revealed new characters such as Dhalsim and Poison for Capcom side, Steve Fox and Yoshimitsu for Tekken, but they also released this new cinematic trailer of other characters to join Street Fighter X Tekken.

It's an awesome trailer. They reveal Hugo with Poison, gets their asses kicked, and in the end, Guy and Cody shows up. It's pretty awesome that their adding more Final Fight characters, I bet their going to officially show gameplay when they reveal their Tekken pairs. Poor Haggar though, if he had his pipe it would have been a different story. Respect the pipe!
