[Update- MK Region 3]New games out now! - Mortal Kombat, Portal2, SOCOM 4
UPDATE(4/20/11) - Whoever bought a region 3 copy of Mortal Kombat and is missing your online pass don't worry. Apparently the supplier of the game forgot to add the online pass and their aware of it. I gave Datablitz a call and they apparently can help me after all. They asked for my email add so that they can send my online pass code via email. Do the same and give your shop a call, they should be able to give you your online pass when the supplier has given them the codes. But again to avoid this, buy REGION 2 instead of region 3.
UPDATE(4/20/11) - Apparently the Region 3 copies of Mortal Kombat has no online pass inside them. I too have that issue of having no online pass and a lot of people are also experiencing this issue. Region 2 seems safe having the online pass included in the game. I've contacted where i bought my Mortal Kombat and they say all their Region 3 copies have no online pass. They can't help me since they only sell what is given to them so now i'm contacting WB Games to see what they have to say about it. If your experiencing the same problem, go and give your retailer a call about it if you want. If any of you are planning to get a copy of Mortal Kombat, GET REGION 2. Its confirmed to have an online pass and you shouldn't have any problems.
Datablitz(our version of Gamestop or Bestbuy or whatever store) just got their copies of Mortal Kombat, Portal 2 and Socom 4. Socom 4 and Portal 2 have been in store since last night so it was already on sale when stores opened. Mortal Kombat though was delayed and copies of the game only came this afternoon and i was actually there when the copies arrived. Saved me the embarrassment of waiting in the store till it arrived.
Mortal Kombat is priced at P2150 for PS3 and P2100 for Xbox 360.
Portal 2 is priced at P1290 for the PC version and around P1850 for the console versions.
Socom 4 has also graced us by actually coming out on their said date. Its priced at P2795.
This is all Datablitz prices, if you purchase your games in other stores go check them now, they should have all three games.
Like i said, its rare. It doesn't happen as often. We had scenarios wherein certain games come out here a week after the said release date or even later. Why it gets delayed we don't know. I remember Final Fantasy 13 being released here 5 days after the release date. That was clearly a test of patience and watching live streams of the game didn't help.
If you've been waiting for any of these three games stop reading my stupid post and go get your copies!
Portal 2 is out on Steam!
If you bought the game via steam, well it's finally unlocked for you PC gamers. gamers who want to play it will have to stand up and get the game. lucky $%&@#! what you guys waiting for? head over the steam site now and start playing!
Rage "Dead City" Trailer
In this Rage gameplay trailer they show you that Dead City isn't the best place to explore and look for supplies. This is the first gameplay trailer I've seen since E3 2010 and it's shaping up pretty well. If you like Fallout-ish games, you should give this one a look.

Bethesda is also developing this game and they started making this game back in 2007. This is another game with a post-apocalyptic setting with some RPG elements but is tuned to be more like a First Person Shooter. I'd like to think of as a sandbox First Person Shooter but nothing is certain yet since we don't know how deep the RPG part of RAGE can be.
One thing for sure is that there is a huge world to explore and what you see in the video above is only one of the places you get to explore. The graphics look great and they say the game can give you a total of 30 hours of gameplay and that's not including the side quests. What i did get out of the trailer though is the number of unique weapons you get to play around with. Did you see that pistol? weird stuff. So yea, Bethesda is bringing us a lot this year.
At the end of the video it tells us another gameplay trailer is coming soon so more to come in the next few months.
If you pre-order now you get an instant upgrade to the Anarchy Edition. The Anarchy Edition will allow players to access two special weapons, the Double Barrel Shotgun and the Fists of RAGE. also included is the Rat Rod Buggy which replaces your default ride and the Crimson Elite Armor which will give extra defense.
Rage will be out in PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360 on September 13, 2011.
Sonic Generations Gameplay Trailer
After the teaser video that SEGA released not so long ago, we now have gameplay footage of the upcoming game Sonic Generations. A Sonic game which features both the green eyed modern Sonic and the stubby fat Classic Sonic.
From the looks of it, the game uses the same engine from Sonic Colors. A mix of both fast paced 2D and 3D gameplay which I think worked well in Sonic Colors. I'm sure some of you speculated that since the game has 2 Sonics in it, that it would be a co-op game. The trailer shows no signs of co-op gameplay and if you notice, Classic Sonic did not have a shot of 3D gameplay nor the ability to boost.
As to how both Sonic will interact in the game is still unknown. We just have to wait for further news from SEGA.

Two Worlds 2 expansion: Pirates of the Flying Fortress announced
Uh yea i guess Topware isn't done with Two Worlds 2. The game is huge and they decided to make it even bigger by releasing an expansion pack. Apparently Two Worlds 2 did really well for them since a third is planned and now this.
The Two Worlds site mentions that the expansion will be adding new content, weapons, added weather effects like thunder and rain storms, added animations and a lot more. It will be released as a multi platform title and is aiming for a September 2011 release.
Two Worlds 2 is an open world RPG similar to Elder scrolls but played in third person. The unique feature in Two Worlds 2 is their customization from improving equipment by adding extra effects to creating your own magic spell. It was a good RPG and has a crazy amount of content that you can just spend 50+ hours if you do most of the side quests.
I did a review of Two Worlds 2 and was fun while it lasted, but I'm not sure if i want to spend for an expansion pack. We'll see when we hear more info about it.
