DMC: Devil May Cry NYCC trailer, console demo coming before release

DMC Ninja Theory's take on Capcom's Devil May Cry series has a new trailer that came from this year's New York Comic Con. If you're having second doubts on the upcoming Devil May Cry, good news, you get to test drive Dante's new look first. During the event, they also mentioned a demo version of DMC is planned before the game ships.

As reported byJoystiq, Capcom is planning to release the demo online prior to the game's launch. No firm date to when the demo will be available but its good to know that a demo is on the way. It's a bit petty but I actually have doubts of the game because of  the change in Dante's looks and the story set in a different reality. Yes, I know its a reboot and all, but I'm still leaning to the old Devil May Cry. Core gameplay seem intact, but hopefully it plays just as well as it looks.

DMC: Devil May Cry is scheduled for a January 15, 2013 release for Playstation 3, and Xbox 360. With the PC version to follow soon after.

Dishonored Got Dishonored this week? Awesome. Was it through Datablitz? Well then, maybe this will interest you. Datablitz just announced that you can get free DLC's when you get a copy of Dishonored on any platform. In addition, customers that have already bought a copy of Dishonored can head back to the same Datablitz branch and claim your free DLC, as long as you still have your receipt that is.

The news was delivered via Datablitz's official Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Once you purchase your copy of Dishonored, or went back to claim your DLC's, you get to choose one of the two DLC pack combinations:

Shadow Rat Pack & Acrobatics Pack

-----  OR  ------

Arcane Assassin Pack & Backstreet Butcher Pack

Together with the news, Datablitz apologizes for the delay on the arrival of the free DLC. Far Cry 3 trailers that introduces us to a few characters

Ubisoft's latest trailers for Far Cry 3 introduces us to a few characters we'll encounter in the wild. Vaas, we all know how crazy Vaas is, Buck seems to be another psychopath,  Citra is the leader of a tribe while Dennis, well Dennis seems to know a lot about the island you're trapped in. Check out the trailers below.

The Tribe: Citra and Dennis

The Savages: Vaas and Buck

I have pretty low expectations for the third Far Cry title thanks to my experience with Far Cry 2.  But good thing the characters for the third is proving to be something to check out.

Far Cry 3 hits the UK first on November 30 on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, while the US gets the game a few days later on December 4.

Borderlands 2 DLC Gearbox Software just announced today that the DLC character Mechromancer is coming a week earlier. Since the DLC was planned for an October 16 release, that means the DLC will be released today on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Gearbox Software president Randy Pitchford tweeted the news today. He also added that the content will be available at the end of the day.
