Dragon's Dogma expansion announced by Capcom

Capcom just announced a "Major Expansion" to their new open-world RPG. Not much information about this "Major Expansion", but all that was revealed so far is that it will arrive next year for Playstation 3, and Xbox 360. That, and the ability to carry your save file to the expansion. A teaser trailer was also released together with the announcement. Have a look after the jump.

The fact that they are not calling it DLC means this would come out more than a 3 hour added content. That's my guess at this point considering it called a "Major Expansion".

The news does not stop there, Capcom also announced adding two new modes to the original game as free DLC. It will include a speedrun mode that challenges players to finish specific parts of the game in a given time, and Hard mode that, well... makes the game harder.

Looks like Capcom has a lot planned for their new IP. So if I were you, keep your copy of Dragon's Dogma in a safe place for now.

Dead or Alive 5 Launch trailer

Tecmo Koei Games just released a launch trailer for Dead or Alive 5 reminding us of its release at the end of the month. Dead or Alive has always been a so-so fighting game in my eyes, with previous titles more focused on giving a lot of eye candy to the players rather than a good fighting game. This latest entry seems like they are trying to fix all that. The game was looking good at the start of the trailer, until characters started getting hit by trains and thrown into helicopters. You will know what I mean below.

Dead or Alive 5 comes out on September 25 for US, and September 28 for EU on Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.

Dead Island: Riptide CGI trailer

Dead Island: Riptide First teaser trailer for the next Dead Island has finally hit. Just like the first game, they open up with a CGI trailer to start things off. The first ever trailer for the first Dead Island got a lot of attention, it was just that good. For Dead Island: Riptide, they used the same tone, which I'm guessing is to create the same response. Well, I still think the first is still better, but this one is definitely worth watching. Check it out below.

It's either just as good as the first, or one of the most depressing CGI trailer you've ever seen.

Dead Island: Riptide is scheduled for a 2013 release on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
