Assasin's Creed 3 box art and setting revealed

The box art of Assassin's Creed 3 has been released and pretty much confirms the game's setting. It will be in America and you'll be witnessing the American Revolution first-hand it seems. 

Ubisoft confirmed the game's existence a few weeks ago. This game has a development time of three years so expect something entirely different.

Who's the new protagonist? what are the changes made for the third? No info yet but expect more about Assassin's Creed 3 in a few days, Ubisoft  announced all the details of Assassin’s Creed III will be revealed on Monday March 5.

An assassin about to kill a red coat with a tomahawk, can't wait to find out more about this. Gameinformer's April cover is Assassin's Creed 3 and has an amazing image of the protagonist wielding a tomahaw and pistol with the american flag behind him. Zone of Enders HD Collection coming Fall, and some news about a new MGS

Konami confirms the release of an HD Collection for Zone of Enders. It was rumored by Hideo Kojima himself with some twitter pics but now it's officially announced and will hit shelves this fall for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360

Fall pretty much means sometime around September. No confirmed date was mentioned so far. It will include Zone of the Enders and Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner fully remastered.

"We are looking forward to bringing the legendary Zone of the Enders series to fans old and new in a high-definition format with the Zone of Enders HD Collection," said Tomoyuki Tsuboi, President of Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc.

I'm sure the fans were hoping for a new Zone of Enders, but looks like any plans for that is on hold since Hideo Kojima was placed in the seat once again to continue the Metal Gear Solid series.

Above is the first art for the next Metal Gear Solid game. It's just Big Boss with a dog with him, nothing to see. Konami is currently hiring developers to work on the game and so far this is the only info about it, aside from it actually happening.

Hideo said at one point that he wanted the 4th to be the last of Snake, so anything is up in the air on how the 5th will go.

Jet Set Radio HD remaster is coming

The stylish cell-shaded, paint spraying, inline skating game from SEGA is going to get re-released.

SEGA released a teaser video a few days back and have now just confirmed that this is real thing that is happening. Jet Set Radio (Jet Grind Radio in Japan) which was a Dreamcast exclusive (up until they stopped making consoles) when it first came out is getting up-res'd in HD and will be available on both XBLA and PSN (or by it's new name "SEN") as well as Windows PC this summer.

I've always wanted to play this but I never got to own a Dreamcast (or any SEGA console for that matter) I missed out. The second game, Jet Set Radio Future, was released on the original Xbox so I also missed out on that so I'm very glad that SEGA is giving the series some love and re-releasing the first game in HD.

More Datablitz Pre-orders announced

It's true, well for the Philippines anyway. When a game comes out and says it comes out on a said date, it's not always the case for us gamers here in the ph. But there's one thing that we can rely on, and that's local pre-orders. This week, Datablitz reveals tw new pre-orders - like Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Devil May Cry HD Collection.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City

Pre-order and you get an Umbrella with the game's logo on it. Funny thing is they actually made a bulletin on the umbrella's features. Comfortable sure grip handle? water-resistant fabric? Awesome umbrella. Pre-order it or not, it confirms this game coming on time on March 20, 2012 for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.

Devil May Cry HD Collection

I didn't even know an DMC HD collection was on it's way. The pre-order is not that amazing unless you have a case-less  iPhone or Galaxy SII. The premium packing, I'll still need to confirm on it. The collection will include Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3 now on High Definition. It's out on March 22 and the package sounds interesting. The first and third game was great. The second? Well let's just say I personally didn't like it. Anyway three games in one always sounds good.

Again, these pre-orders are good to know since it gives us a reliable date of release here in the Philippines. Sometimes games get released a week after it's official release while some take longer, or even on time. It comes out a guessing game. It's better than nothing I guess.

Mass Effect 3 Live Action trailer

EA won't stop stop releasing trailers of Mass Effect 3! Wait why am I complaining? The latest trailer debuted during The Walking Dead's latest episode and it turns out it's a Live Action Trailer. Not the best released, but still worth the watch.

As if you don't know the release date, Mass Effect 3 hits stores on March 6 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
