SEGA takes down Streets of Rage Remake

So SEGA has just crushed 8 years of hard work by taking down the Streets of Rage Remake off the internet.

The remake, which featured new characters, special attacks, enhanced music and graphics is no longer available from original sources, and any subsequent downloads have been flagged as illegal.

You what sucks though? The developers of the remake previously stated that SEGA knew of the projects existence and said that they had no issue with it. SEGA came back with an excuse about them needing to excercise their copyrights from time to time which sounds like complete BS at the moment.

Told you guys, shoulda got the remake while you had the chance. (Google for it, sources have told me its on megaupload *wink wink*)

Portal 2 Boots

So Portal 2 will have equipment that will solve your 'fear of heights' or in this case, 'fear of going through portals so fast that your momentum builds up and you're going so fast that hitting the ground means instant death'.

I love the whole sports commentator commercial approach, it gives the video some humor and keeps you interested. Like John Madden telling you to buy a can of peas, except that you can actually understand the guy.

Dragon Age II patch 1.02 out for PC

If you haven't noticed, Dragon Age II is full of bugs and problems that leaves you scratching your head. Bioware finally fixed most of the major issues with the 1.02 patch and is out for the PC.

Console players will have to wait a little bit longer for the patch to come their way but it will be worth the wait. Certain quests can now be completed, abilities not functioning as described are fixed and some dialogue bugs. But there was one bug in particular i was hoping Bioware can address in this patch and thankfully they did.

The maker's sigh occasionally giving the character extra skill points when resetting your skills. This bug ruined my game wasting 4 hours. That's why it's always good to save in different slots. I'm sure some of you experienced this issue and it's not cool unless you want to have that extra edge.

Some of the fixes might bring some minor spoilers so head over to the Bioware site to check out the patch list.
