Weekend, what are you playing?

big refractor September is almost over and I'm sure everyone is saving up for all the October releases but for this weekend, what are you playing?

Migoy: Been busy these past few Saturdays so I haven't been doing much weekend gaming. And with the analog stick of my PSP-3000 on the fritz, it looks like I'll have to pass by the shop before getting down to my usual portable gaming. I have been getting the urge to play some old Mega Man Legends again after having a 3DS discussion with my cousins and mentioning the cancellation of Legends 3 so I might revisit the digger adventures of Megaman Volnutt. I think I also still have my copy of The Misadventure of Tron Bonne lying around here somewhere.

Red Dead Redemption DLC Myths and Mavericks Bonus Pack

Arlie: Same with Migoy, I also haven't played that much this week either, because I've been busy with the site migration and improving the site. I'm still playing Dead Island, I'm more of a completionist so I want to finish all of the possible side quests and experience every possible scenario in one play through before I move on to the story. I heard that the final DLC for Red Dead Redemption, Myths and Mavericks Bonus Pack which you can grab for free have been released so I also might play a little online multiplayer of RDR this weekend.

Quash: Dead island still, waiting for the release of Gears of War 3 so I'm going through my second playthrough with Purna this time and hopefully get my first character Logan to 50. It's a good game, but a very buggy one. Didin't experience anything game breaking at the moment but believe me, there are.

Portal: No Escape

Danielle Rayne is hotWanna see a good live action short film about Portal? Here's one. Much like Mortal Kombat Rebirth, I wish this gets turned into a real movie. MK sort of got that by having the web-series called Mortal Kombat Legacy.

Portal: No Escape (Live Action Short Film by Dan Trachtenberg) A woman wakes up in a room with no memory of who she is or how she got there...

30 minutes of Dark Souls gameplay

Dar Souls-SC1 Dark Souls is a month away so lets watch some gameplay footage shall we? a live gameplay of Dark Souls was being stream on Japanese broadcast site Nico Nico Douga and someone was able to record it for us to see in Youtube.

This is definitely a day one purchase for me. Is it going to be harder than the first game? I wouldn't be surprised. These are the games I appreciate since we don't have that many games nowadays that want us to throw the disc out the window.

Weekend, what are you playing?

Undead Surfers and Bikini Zombies Hey ho! Let's go! They're forming in a straight line. They're going through a tight wind. The kids are losing their minds to weekend gaming. So, what are you playing?

Migoy: Still Dragon Balling around in Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team. Finished the main story missions and unlocked a bunch of side and 'what if' missions so I still got lots to do in that game. Booted up Tenkaichi 3 on the Wii and I gotta say, the 2 games feel very different from one another even though they pretty much look exactly the same.

Arlie: Earlier this week I bought Elevator Action Deluxe off PSN with my friends. At first I was disappointed that there's no online multiplayer for this game, which is I was looking forward to. But in the end it didn't matter because still it's a pretty addicting game. I also started to play Dead Island yesterday, and I chose Xian Mei as my character for my play through. You can catch me playing live on our channel.

Quash: Dead Island all weekend for me! Currently on act III with a level 32 Logan(playing the PC version). Backtracking at the moment since most of the people I group up with just want to steamroll the main story. There's so many side quests in each act that I feel like I'm missing a chunk of the game. Plus I see a lot of weapon mods that I need to collect. All the issues during the NA release in steam didn't happen for the Sept 9 release in other steam countries. It was a risk for me  but thankfully they released the proper build. Oh, is it a good game? definitely! grab a few friends for the ride and your good to go.

Find Jason and his weapons in Dead Island

When I say Jason, and you know your classic horror flicks, you know exactly who I'm talking about. Somewhere in act III of Dead Island, you come across a guy in a hut surrounded by zombies called Jason. When you kill him, he drops a machete. Jason Voorhees easter? look around the hut you see a lot of similarities inside plus his chainsaw!  check the video to see it for yourself

I'm currently in act II in Dead Island, playing it on PC and enjoying the hell out of it. This video though makes me want to rush to act III to check this out myself. Jason also seems tough as ever since he tossed a couple of grenades to get the kill. You can't repair the chainsaw and can't be upgraded, but it's a one hit kill......well unless your a special kind of zombie. I wished there was more animation to the chainsaw, but it's an Easter egg after all. Are there any more Easter eggs? I hear there's a lot in the island of Banoi.
