Elder Scrolls: Skyrim PC system requirements announced

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Bethesda just announced the required and minimum system requirements for the next Elder Scrolls. It looks like Skyrim won't be demanding as we thought. Check out the specs to see if your PC can take this epic open world.

Minumum Specs

- Windows 8/Vista/XP PC ( 32 or 64 bit ) - Processor: Dual Core 2.0Ghz or equivalent processor - 2 GB System RAM - 6GB free HDD Space - Direct X 9 compliant video card with 512 MB of RAM - DirectX compatible sound card - Internet access for Steam activation

Recommended Specs

- Windows 7/Vista/XP PC ( 32 or 64 bit ) - Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU - 4GB system RAM - 6GB free HDD space - DirectX 9 compatible NVIDIA or AMD ATI video card with 1GB of RAM ( Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 or higher; ATI Radeon 4890 or higher). - Direct compatible sound card - Internet access for Steam activation

The specs are pretty low if you ask me, which makes me think run down PC like mine just might run Skyrim. This is one of those games that should be played on PC, but if your PC still can't take it with these kind of requirements, there's always the console version. So which version are you planning to get?

Skyrim is out on November 11, 2011 for PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.
